Insurance Behaviour Tracker (IBT) is a tracking survey of insurance purchasers. It is the product that provides the vital information on which the Intelligent Choice Award is based. 

IBT measures the behaviour, attitudes and intentions of consumers before, during and after the renewal process. This provides a comprehensive picture of consumer behaviour and their interaction and relationship with insurance providers at this critical point – do they renew or switch?

IBT allows analysis of market share, length of tenure, channels used to obtain quotes from a provider or competitor, channels used to buy, aggregator usage, brand awareness and consideration.

For Home and Motor IBT, every month, 4,000 decision making consumers complete an online questionnaire comprising 90 questions. For Pet IBT, we survey 1,000 purchasers of Pet insurance for either a dog or cat once a quarter. The quality of respondents and volume of data captured through IBT enables demographic segment analysis which allows key business decisions to be made. . .
